What types of analysis and testing does AsemhLab® perform?

AsemhLab® offers analysis and testing services in two main areas: Chemical Branch, which includes atomic absorption spectrophotometry, graphite furnace, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry for the determination of heavy metals, lead, and phthalates; and Metal-Mechanical Branch, which includes mechanical tests to identify potential risks by simulating use and abuse conditions in products. Additionally, we offer quality control services backed by metrological traceability.

What accreditations and authorizations support AsemhLab® services?

We have a Quality Management System based on the NMX-EC-17025-IMNC-2018 (ISO/IEC 17025:2017) standard. We are accredited by the Mexican Accreditation Entity (ema) since May 2012, authorized by COFEPRIS since October 2010, and internationally recognized by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) of the United States since June 2012. We are the first laboratory of Mexican origin authorized by the CPSC.

We serve various sectors that demand high levels of control and quality, including: children's products (toys and products for children), textiles, footwear, ceramics, and consumer products in general. Our analyses help verify that products comply with applicable national (NOM, NMX) and international (ASTM, CPSC, ISO, UNE) regulations for each sector.
