Privacy Notice

Description of the Notice: The terms used in this Privacy Notice (hereinafter referred to as the “Notice”) shall have the definitions assigned to them by the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on March 20, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the “Law”), with the express exception of those defined herein. This Notice specifies the type of data that Asesoría Empresarial y Humana, S.C., (hereinafter referred to interchangeably as “ASEMHLAB”, “LABORATORY”, “ASEMH”, “our”, or “we”) collects, the purposes for which it processes such data, and the rights of the data subject in this regard.

Identity and Address of the Data Controller (Article 15, Section I of the Law)

Asesoría Empresarial y Humana, S.C. (hereinafter referred to interchangeably as “ASEMHLAB”, “LABORATORIO”, “ASEMH”, “our”, or “we”), with its registered office at Calle Riff No. 1004, Colonia General Pedro María Anaya, Benito Juárez Borough, C.P. 03340, Mexico City, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data, and in this regard informs you of the following:

Personal data collected by ASEMHLAB (Article 15, section II. of the Law)

The personal data that ASEMHLAB may collect includes (i) full names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, (ii) all information that the user has provided and/or provides throughout the business relationship established; (iii) data belonging to and related to the services provided by ASEMHLAB in the fulfillment of its obligations, whether for the provision of services, (iv) as well as any other data collected from time to time due to the business relationship, to comply with a legal requirement or mandate from a competent authority, or through other sources permitted by law. ASEMHLAB collects data in good faith and therefore presumes that it is truthful, accurate, complete, and identifies the data subject who supplies and/or provides it. It is the data subject's responsibility to ensure that the data they provide to ASEMHLAB meets these characteristics and is updated as required. Likewise, ASEMHLAB reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate in the event of falsified data.

Sensitive Personal Data

ASEMHLAB does NOT request sensitive personal data in any section. (Racial or ethnic origin, current and future health status, genetic information, religious, philosophical, and moral beliefs, union affiliation, political opinions, sexual orientation)

Transfer of Data to Third Parties

It is important for you to be aware that the information we hold may be transferred and used within and outside the country by parties other than ASEMHLAB. Therefore, your information may be shared with:

  • Metrology and measurement institutions, certification bodies, testing laboratories, or similar entities, in order to fulfill their contractual, regulatory, and/or commercial obligations in the ordinary course of providing the services you request or contract with us.
  • Government institutions in order to comply with legal requirements.

Therefore, and in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, if you do not express your objection to the transfer of your personal data, it will be understood that you have given your consent.
