Part 3: Migration of Certain Elements

This standard contains requirements for the migration of certain elements from the following categories of toy materials:
- Coatings such as paints, varnishes, lacquers, printing inks, polymers, foams, and similar coatings.
- Polymeric and similar materials, including laminates, reinforced or unreinforced textiles, but excluding other textiles.
- Paper and cardboard.
- Textiles, both natural and synthetic.
- Glass, ceramics, and metallic materials.
- Other materials, colored or not throughout (e.g., wood, fiberboard, hardboard, bone, and leather). Compressed paint tablets, traceable materials, or similar solid materials that appear as such in the toy (e.g., colored pencil leads, chalk, crayons).
- Flexible modeling materials, including modeling clay and plaster.
- Liquid paints, including finger paints, varnishes, lacquers, liquid ink in pens, and similar liquid materials that appear as such in the toy (e.g., nail polish remover, bubble solution).
- Glue sticks.
